No. Size 81-6363-07 10 nmol Description: Organically-soluble eFluor® Nanocrystals are CdSe/ZnS core/shell semiconductor nanocrystals soluble only in organic solvents (ie. Not water-soluble), such as toluene, chloroform, hexanes, etc. These nanocrystals are capped with trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) ligands and are useful for researchers that require custom surface coatings for water-solubiilty. Our organically-soluble eFluor® Nanocrystals come dispersed in anhydrous toluene at 20 micromolar concentration, and may be easily precipitated for redispersal in other organic solvents or surface-modified using custom techniques. NOTE: Actual emission wavelength for organic nanocrystals tend to be a few nm to the blue of the emission wavelength of nanocrystals functionalized for dispersion in water. The organically-soluble eFluor® 545NC may emit as low as 540 nm in organic solvent.
