No reactivity to the beta form is observed. The 42 kDa protein is a main component of the cytoskeletal structural network. The HHF35 antibody has been shown to recognize actin from smooth muscle cells of the heart, bladder, uterus, gastrointestinal tract, and diaphragm . The antibody stains tumors of muscle origin such as leiomyomas, leiosarcomes and rhabdomyosacromas. The HHF35 antibody recognizes human, mouse, rat, bovine, pig, guinea pig, sheep, frog, canine and non-human primate actin.
