AIRM1 is a cell surface receptor that belongs to the sialoadhesin family and displays homology with the myeloid cell antigen CD33. p75/AIRM1 expression is confined to NK cells in lymphoid cells. eBioQA79 crosslinking inhibits NK function. p75/AIRM1 is expressed at various stages of myeloid differentiation. Presence of this protein is a useful way to monitor cellular proliferation and determine proliferative states of cells, especially in diseases such as chronic myeloid leukemia.
